Outlook Group Group, Neenah, WI, had fourth quarter sales of $13.9 million and earnings of $58,000, compared with year-ago sales and earnings of $20.2 million and $643,000, respectively. For the year, the company had net sales of $70.7 million and earnings of $1.3 million, compared with $72.7 million and $2 million for fiscal 1999.
The quarter and the year ended May 31.
“Although our sales and earnings continued to be affected by the slowdown in the printing industry, we are pleased that we returned to profitability in the fourth quarter,” said Joseph J. Baksha, president and chief operating officer of Outlook Group, in a statement.
Baksha continued, “During this challenging period, we began consolidating operations from other locations into our two primary Neenah facilities, strengthened our customer base and reduced operating expenses.”
