Walter Karl Interactive announced the management of two new e-mail files at the Net.Marketing conference in New York. One is Kaplan Inc. with 650,000 e-mail addresses. The other is Putnam Media with 150,000 e-mail addresses.
Test-preparation company Kaplan Inc. released the e-mails of people who registered for or bought courses. They are high school, college or post-graduate people who were asked to opt in.
The file effective date of management is May 1. The price will be between $215 to $255 per thousand.
The Putnam Media master file comes from a number of manufacturing and technical magazines with controlled circulation. Subscribers opted in for third-party offers when they signed up for the magazine.
The e-mail files cost $350 per thousand. Telephone selects are available.
The Pearl River, NY-based list company already manages the postal file for Putnam.
