Barron’s Subscriber File
Statlistics has been named manager of the Barron’s circulation list, effective Jan. 1.
The file contains roughly 206,000 active names. Marge Fernbach will serve as account executive.
ALC Data Management, the current Barron’s manager, will continue handling The Wall Street Journal’s file, sources said.
Statlistics also manages the Institutional Investor and Investor’s Business Daily lists, and has several other clients in the financial services sector.
Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. acquired Barron’s and The Wall Street Journal last week as part of Dow Jones & Co.
Modern Healthcare Magazine
Crain Communications Inc. tapped MeritDirect to manage Modern Healthcare’s subscriber lists. Some 32,515 postal addresses and 217,735 e-mail addresses are available. Among the magazine’s readers are executives who work in the healthcare industry, including hospitals, surgery centers and medical groups. Direct Media Inc. had been handling these files.

Schwedelson Elected Chairman of List Leaders Group
Worldata corporate vice president Jay Schwedelson has been elected 2008 chairman of the Direct Marketing Association’s List Leaders Group.
Fran Green, chief revenue officer at American List Counsel Inc., was elected vice chairman of the group.
