Equifax Launches ValueScore for Ranking Data
Equifax Inc. has introduced ValueScore, a new tool for scoring prospecting names on lists, which can be used in conjunction with demographics and lifestyle data for creating statistical list models.
Twelve different scores rank prospective customers’ payment behavior from high to low value. This information can be appended to files or installed in customer databases.
This tool is intended to make lists with historically low payment and conversion rates more attractive to use.
TransUnion Offers New Mover and List Update Services
TransUnion has unveiled two new data updating services to improve accuracy on customer databases and other marketing lists.
TransUnion New Mover offers non-credit data daily for updating addresses and phone number of consumers who have moved within the last 48 to 72 hours. Date and various geographic selections are available.
TransUnion Contact Manager uses contact information sourced from telephone companies for updating files. It uses match codes to help determine the likelihood that a name, address or phone number corresponds with a particular customer.
Melissa Data Provides Address Changes Online
Melissa Data has launched SmartMover, an automated Web-based change of address service for updating lists online.
Using data from the U.S. Postal Service’s National Change of Address program, the SmartMover service can update up to 100 unique records at a time, regardless of the file formatting type.
