Webwise Choice Deals Lists
The Webwise Choice Deals list group has been expanded to include lists of individuals who’ve searched the Internet looking for books and music, products for children and information about real estate. With 3.6 million names the Webwise Choice Deals Online Shopping/Books and Music file is one of the largest. Sources include Internet registrations, direct mail, space advertising and telemarketing.

Starcrest Products of California Inc. recently launched Gavilan’s Mail Order Buyers, a list with 136,903 buyers from the last 12 months. The average order was $45 for kitchen and bath products, cosmetics, handbags, apparel, jewelry and other home and garden products. No telemarketing is allowed.

Online marketing agency Ice Water Media has begun offering an Internet Health Insurance master file. Some 194,82 names are available. This file identifies individuals who searched the Internet for price quotes on health insurance. Each filed out a questionnaire and provided information about health status, household income and other data. The average unit of sale among buyers was $850.

Fast Forward 2006 to Include Session on Data Security
A session on data security has been added to the Direct Marketing Association’s upcoming Fast Forward 2006 conference for senior level list professionals on Aug. 15.
