Specialist Multichannel Readies Retail Models

Specialists Multichannel Solutions LLC is developing a trade area prospecting statistical modeling program for retailers. Models will leverage customer data with neighborhood cluster data to create tiered trade areas. Modeled data will provide more precise household cluster data, compared to ZIP code, carrier route or census block group data, according to Curt Blattner, chief operating officer at Specialists Multichannel. For companies with restrictive privacy policies, customer data can be aggregated, so that no individual customer and address data is required.
