I’m not about to enter in to the debate, although I think Mr. Tooker’s observations make the most sense.

I do want to point out that Mr. Amtower incorrectly listed the home state of Senator Roman Hruska. Senator Hruska represented Nebraska not Indiana.

I think DM would be best served by 4 more years of Bush. A Republican administration would be generally friendlier to business than a Kerry administration. In my vertical, healthcare and pharmaceutical, a Democratic administration might be as bad as Clinton I (Hillarycare).

Even if Bush wins, a benign federal posture cannot be assumed. The do-not-call fiasco shows that Bush and a massive bipartisan majority will sell out our industry in a DC minute for the price of a vote.
