Jingle Networks Inc. operator of 1-800-Free411, an advertising supported directory assistance service, reported that it typically generates 4% to 6% average conversion rates from direct response advertising targeting consumers who receive free directory assistance number look-up services.
Instead of paying $1 to $2 to look up numbers consumers hear brief direct response offers. The service offers access to the same numbers available through paid directory assistance.
Since its introduction in September 2005, Jingle Networks said it has processed nearly 35 million calls.
