Jacobs & Clevenger has signed an agreement to help DaKoo, a Chinese agency and consulting firm, market healthcare products in the People’s Republic of China.
The Chicago-based agency will provide input on “knowledge-sharing, processes and techniques,” said president Ron Jacobs. It will also help DaKoo build databases, although “they already do that,” Jacobs said.
Jacobs explained that markets are becoming deregulated in the PRC, and that many firms in the financial and healthcare sectors want to expand their marketing. Beijing-based DaKoo, which has estimated annual billings of (U.S.) $1 million, already represents healthcare clients like Viagra.
