J. Crew Group, Inc. has appointed Sukhinder Singh Cassidy to its board of directors. Her appointment is effective Aug. 14.
Additionally, Jonathan Coslet will resign from the board of directors on Aug. 14 in order to focus on his responsibilities at TPG Capital L.P.
Singh Cassidy is CEO-in-residence at Accel Partners, a global venture and growth equity firm, since April 2009. Prior to that, she was a global VP of sales and operations for Google, Inc.
From 2005 to 2009 she was Google’s President for Asia-Pacific & Latin America Operations. From 2003 to 2005, she was Google’s general manager of local search, video and print Partnerships.
J. Crew Group, Inc. is a multi-channel retailer of women’s, men’s and children’s apparel, shoes and accessories.
