J. Crew Cues In-Store Music

Apparel retailer J. Crew has tapped DMX Music for in-store music programming in 250 J. Crew stores.

Los Angeles-based DMX will create a customized soundtrack with music and marketing content for J. Crew’s 200 U.S. stores and 50 stores overseas. DMX installs and maintains a sound system in each store; music, marketing messages and playlists are updated via network connection or via disc in each store.

DMX also handles in-store music for Nike, Gold’s Gym, California Pizza Kitchen, Pottery Barn, Macy’s, Abercrombie & Fitch and Victoria’s Secret.
