Is There Anything Spam Isn’t Responsible For?

Well, we finally found the idiots who respond to spam. They’re apparently getting penis operations.

Surgeons at St Peter’s Andrology Centre in London surveyed 42 men who underwent penis enlargement operations, and found that most were unhappy with the result, according to a report in the European Eurology journal.

The average increase was about a half inch, but two thirds said they were unhappy with the result.

The report’s author, Nim Christopher, said penis enlargements had become one of the “most hyped” operations because of spam advertising, the BBC reported.

“For patients with psychological concern about the size of the penis—particularly if it is normal size—there is little point in offering them surgery because it makes no difference,” he said, according to the BBC.

He said men often requested another round of surgery because of their dissatisfaction.

Uh, yeah, and these same men are probably unhappy with some guy in Nigeria who’s promised to enter into an URGENT AND CONFIDENTIAL business proposal with them and share $26 million.

The study said rather than having surgery the men should be referred for psychological counseling.

A better idea would be to collect their e-mail addresses and put them in one file called “People Who Will Buy Anything, Even if it Hurts Like Hell Just Thinking About it.”
