Interep Promotes EM Database Via New Division

Advertising sales and marketing company Interep has formed a new division offering a database of 20,000 events and promotions to the event marketing industry.

The division, The Event Shop, maintains a database of events from hundreds of cities nationwide, sorted by category, demographic appeal, calendar season and geographic location. The events are marketed at no charge to promotional and event marketing agencies, Interep said.

Dave Demer, formerly of the Katz Radio Group, has been named to lead the Atlanta-based division. Rich O’Sullivan has joined as an account executive. Most recently, O’Sullivan worked for KRG’s event marketing division as an account executive.
