InterContinental Teams With American Express for Hotel Stay Rewards

InterContinental Hotels Group will begin offering American Express lodging cards as incentives within its Priority Club Rewards loyalty program. The agreement expands the number of hotels program members may use their rewards in from the 3,500 properties managed by InterContinental to more than a half-million facilities worldwide.

Free nights make up 75 percent of all redemptions within the Priority Club Rewards program, followed by airline tickets, auto rentals, and a variety of products and services. Travelers electing to receive American Express lodging cards will earn them in denominations of between $100 and $250. The cards are not subject to blackout dates, and may be used within any establishment that takes the American Express card.

Priority Club Rewards participants may begin redeeming their points for the American Express lodging cards starting in July.
