InfoUSA, Omaha, NE, has appointed Jack McGovern as chief financial officer effective July 1. McGovern replaces acting CFO Guatam Gupta, who had served as acting CFO since mid-October.
McGovern comes to InfoUSA with 20 years’ experience in corporate finance, strategic planning and budgeting, information technology, capital formation, and mergers and acquisitions. He most recently served as president of Strategic Capital Inc., an investment banking firm. Prior to that he had been CFO for Deltanet Inc. and Oliver-Allen Corp.
Guatam Gupta, the outgoing acting CFO who is not related to chairman and chief executive officer Vinod Gupta, replaced Rick Puckett, who took over from Steven Purcell on Sept. 1.
