InfoGroup, the information compiler, has signed an agreement with wireless systems provider TeleCommunication Systems Inc., to license 14 million U.S. and 129,000 Puerto Rican business records into its personal navigation solutions TCS Navigator and TCS StreetFinder.
With these records, TCS customers have the ability to locate a variety of destinations including restaurants, hotels, shopping and gas stations in real-time, allowing for the most current data to be retrieved, according to InfoGroup.
TCS Navigator reportedly features intuitive speech recognition for fast address entry, real time/traffic-based routing, custom content and branding, as well as navigation capabilities.
TCS StreetFinder is said to guide users to their destinations by category or business name, and download maps, driving directions and contact information.
