According to SophosLabs’ latest “Dirty Dozen” report, India led all countries when it came to relaying spam from July through September, accounting for 16.1 percent of the world’s spam. This was the third quarter in a row that India led the world with this regretful distinction. Italy followed with 9.4 percent, while the U.S. accounted for 6.5 percent of the world’s spam. Asia was the top spam-relaying continent of the quarter with 48.7 percent of the pie, followed by Europe with 28.2 percent, South America with 10.2 percent, North America with 9.5 percent, Africa with 2.9 percent and other continents with 0.5 percent.
