PC Mall Inc., Torrance, CA, generated $3 million in net income during third-quarter 2007, up from $1.9 million a year earlier. The technology supplier’s sales rose from $242.2 million a year a go to $287.7 million. The quarter ended Sept. 30.
PC Mall’s Sept. 17 acquisition of Sarcom Inc., an IT solutions provider, contributed slightly to its third quarter fortunes. The company will see Sarcom’s full benefit for the first time in the fourth quarter. Its results will also likely be boosted by the release of Apple’s OS X Leopard system, said president and CEO Frank Khulusi in a statement.
