IBM Consolidates DM With OgilvyOne, Wunderman

Computer giant IBM, Armonk, NY, has consolidated its direct and interactive marketing among the OgilvyOne Worldwide and Wunderman agencies. Seven agencies currently perform these services for the company.

Beginning in 2002, the two new agencies will help the company develop and implement everything from online banner advertisements to direct mail campaigns, the company said.

The budget was not disclosed.

IBM.com will still work with interactive agencies R/GA, Modem Media, AnswerThink and OgilvyInteractive to develop its Web strategy and site design. Those agencies will also help IBM with Web-based sales, service and support.
