HouseHold Direct Inc., Bloomfield, CT, will purchase the Unimart Group, including its seven membership clubs in Kansas, Oregon, Nebraska, Colorado, and Oklahoma.
Terms were not disclosed.
The addition of the regional discount purchasing clubs is expected to bring HouseHold Direct’s total membership to 350,000. HouseHold Direct’s currently targeted acquisitions bring the number of data records to over one million consumers.
HouseHold Direct, formerly RDI Marketing Inc., also plans to launch a e-commerce site.
