Hilton Garden Inn hotels and Twentieth Television have teamed in a sweepstakes to incent viewers to watch the syndicated Yes, Dear comedy series.
Consumers can log on to YesDearSweepstakes.com or Hiltongardeninn.com for a chance to win a four-day/three-night getaway for two at a participating Hilton Garden Inn hotel in the continental U.S.
The “Yes, Dear…Let’s Get Out of Here,” sweepstakes will be heavily promoted through a variety of marketing initiatives, including Hilton Garden Inn hotel collateral (in-room, in-elevator, front desk signage, key card inserts and online) that will be strategically placed throughout each location.
Twentieth Television has launched an extensive broadcast station affiliate campaign featuring on-air spots to heighten awareness of Yes, Dear and the sweepstakes. More than 120 broadcast stations throughout the country are participating in the sweepstakes by localizing the promotion and incorporating local sponsors into the campaign to generate added revenue.
A radio campaign will promote the sitcom and sweepstakes in 20 markets. An online campaign will include advertisements and banners, as well as a dedicated sweepstakes microsite strategically seeded on Web sites and portals including Yahoo, MSN and AOL. Links to the campaign’s microsite will also be housed on its affiliates and radio station partners’ Web sites.
Yes, Dear, which airs five days a week, stars Anthony Clark and Jean Louisa Kelly as Greg and Kim Warner, first-time parents who live under the same roof with her sister (played by Liza Snyder), unemployed brother-in-law (Mike O’Malley) and their two children.
