Hanover Direct Inc., Weehawken, NJ, has sold its Kindig Land fulfillment warehouse to Utz Quality Foods for $4.7 million. The warehouse is based in Hanover, PA.
The company expects to have a net gain from the sale of $1 million. It will maintain space in the warehouse through the summer of 2002, during which time it will shift the fulfillment operations the Hanover location had been providing to its Roanoke, VA location. Hanover Direct will maintain the telemarketing, information systems and accounting activities that are based in Hanover.
