Grey Worldwide/SF, San Francisco, has been awarded the San Francisco Zoo advertising account.
The ad agency will manage all strategic and creative elements. Its partner company, MediaCom, will handle media services, and Beyond Interactive, its digital agency, will direct interactive media.
Part of the strategy is to transform the image of the 72-year-old facility into a modern conservation and education center. The campaign is expected to launch late Spring and will include broadcast print, and digital marketing for Northern California.
“Just as we’re rebuilding the physical infrastructure of the Zoo, we feel this is an appropriate time to rebuild the San Francisco Zoo brand as well,” said Kate Mesmer, the zoo’s director of marketing.
Grey Worldwide/SF currently has billings of $185 million with 71 employees. Clients include: Oracle, Ask Jeeves, 24-Hour Fitness, Inc., Challenge Butter, Cyrano Sciences, Inc., Galileo Foods (a Division of Sara Lee Corp.), Globalstar USA, PMC-Sierra, Telseon, and GT Nexus.
Grey Worldwide/SF is part of the Grey Worldwide network, a division of Grey Global Group.
