Google, EA Online Are Top Brands

Google had the largest unique audience in May, while Electronic Arts Online was the stickiest brand, according to Nielsen Online.

Google’s unique audience was 127.6 million in May, with each user spending an average of 1:48:41 on its pages. Microsoft was second with 123.3 million unique visitors, each spending 2:16:00 on its pages. Yahoo! was third with 115.6 million unique visitors, each spending 3:13:23 on its pages.

Time Warner (107.8 million/3:24:16), News Corp. Online (79.1 million/1:45:31), eBay (66.2 million/1:46:12), InterActiveCorp (64.6 million/0:20:33), Wikimedia Foundation (57.3 million/0:17:18), Amazon.com (55.4 million/0:27:45), and New York Times Company (51.1 million/0:17:27) rounded out the list of the top 10 parent companies in May.

Meanwhile, EA Online was the stickiest brand, engaging each of its 11.3 million unique users for 9:16:39 during the month. PokerStars.com held its audience’s attention for 7:05:38 during May, while FullTiltPoker.com held its audience’s attention for 6:55:54.

Plentyoffish Media (5:43:11), Juno Online Services (4:43:00), Trillian (4:39:48), Fanfiction.net (3:40:47), FreeSlots (3:38:34), AOL Media Network (3:37:37), and Yahoo! (3:13:38) rounded out the top 10 list of the stickiest Web brands for May.
