In a recent mailing, if a $25 one-year subscription to Martha Stewart Living was renewed within a certain timeframe, a second person of the subscriber’s choice could be sent a free one-year-subscription. A scratch-off coupon offered a chance at an additional 10% off. The subscriber also received a free 2011 calendar and a holiday card to send a personal note to the recipient of the free subscription. And, the return envelope didn’t even require a stamp.
