Marketing communications agency G2 has hired Julie Spoleti as managing director of healthcare in its Relationship Marketing division, part of the Health & Wellness Group.
She is responsible for all digital marketing initiatives for clients in this sector, including Pfizer, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Boehringer-Ingleheim, Eli Lilly, Allergan, Johnson & Johnson and Sanofi-Aventis. She replaces Marty Laiks, who was promoted to senior vice president, director of strategy, Relationship Marketing division, a new position.
The addition of Spoleti follows several significant wins from existing clients awarded to this group over recent months, G2 said.
Most recently, Spoleti worked for Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness leading relationship marketing and digital innovation working closely with AstraZeneca, Novartis, Sanofi-Aventis, Acorda and others. Prior to her focus on pharmaceuticals, Spoleti worked in other consumer categories and is known for sophisticated RM and enhancing brand experiences, on brand such as AT&T, New York Life and Aetna, G2 said.
In other news, Mark Miller was named executive director, data analytics, leading the data analytics division, a new position.
Most recently he was president and CEO of RMG Connect’s five North American offices. Prior to that he spent nine years with Omnicom, first as president and CEO of FOCUS, and subsequently as president of two of Rapp Collins’ largest worldwide offices, Dallas and Los Angeles.
Both Spoleti and Miller will report directly to Wendy Lurrie, president of G2’s Relationship Marketing division—G2 Direct & Digital.
