Fulcrum, a database marketing services provider, will open a new data center. The new facility, which was initially conceived as a disaster recovery site, will be in active use and will provide increased processing capacity, as well as redundant operations.
The new location will be operational come early 2009. It will be based in the Chicago area, although for security reasons the company is not disclosing the exact location.
Fulcrum manages data warehouses and large-scale marketing databases. The company also provides analytics and customer management technology. The company is located in New York City and maintains an operational center in Fairfield, CT.
