A new app is rewarding drivers with free coffee if they keep their hands on the wheel when driving and off their phones.
The new Driving Barista app, a partnership between Toyota, Komeda coffee shops and KDDI Corp. and was developed to prevent even more people from being killed in cell-phone related car accidents in Japan’s Aichi Prefecture.
Last year, 44,369 people suffered injuries or death because they were using their cellphones while driving, tens of thousands of others were arrested. Read the article …
