The agreement includes opportunities for print and television advertising, as well as Adu’s presence on in-store marketing materials. Additionally, Adu will become the spokesperson for the Sierra Mist MLS Dribble, Pass & Score youth program and Pepsi-Cola’s Get Out There & Play initiative.

Adu, the youngest player in the league, emigrated from Ghana to the U.S. in 1997. He helped the U.S. to advance to the Under-17 World Championship in August and signed a six-year deal with MLS last November.
