Forty Million Valpak Envelopes Tout NBA Sweepstakes

Valpak will send out 40 million envelopes featuring National Basketball Association and Turner Network Television artwork right around the Feb. 9 NBA All-Star game. The packages will tout a sweepstakes that offers consumers a chance to win a trip to the 2004 NBA All-Star game in Los Angeles.

The sweepstakes is being supported by a $250,000 marketing campaign. Valpak and the NBA have sponsored a 10-second commercial, which aired 12 times on Feb. 6 and will air another 12 times on Feb. 13.

Once the NBA campaign has run, Valpak will promote TNT’s Primetime in the Daytime lineup in a mailing scheduled to reach home between Feb. 19 and March 17.
