Elinor Basso, the former head of Dun & Bradstreet’s Business Education Services division, died Jan. 8 of cancer.
She was a former president of Women in Direct Marketing International.
“Gracious is the best word to describe her,” said Karen Gedney of Karen Gedney Communications. “She helped me launch my freelance career and mentored many, many women in direct marketing. She was well loved.”
“She was very interested in education,” added Berenice Ladden, current president of WDMI New York.
