Three Sixty, Inc., a manufacturer of over-the-counter pharmaceuticals, has hired Stephen Hepler, a former marketing manager for The Gillette Co.
In his role at senior vice president of marketing, he is responsible for marketing the pain relief products the company sells, including two marketed for hangovers. The post took effect June 19.
Hepler worked for Gillette, a Procter & Gamble Co., for 30 years. He had been responsible for developing field marketing plans, co-managed profit and loss budgets, managed category managers, created national display promotions, multi-channel retailer marketing product promotions and piloted collateral development programs for major national accounts, Three Sixty said.
He also developed and managed Gillette’s sponsorship of NASCAR.
“The 360 OTC brand is priced perfectly between the name brand and generic competitors in this multi-billion dollar analgesic (pain) industry and we plan to leverage that throughout the entire industry,” Hepler said in a statement. “360 OTC has carved out this category perfectly with its new packaging and product selection very similarly to what Gillette has done with their ‘Young Guns’ razor campaign and as AXE has done with their body wash and sprays.”
