Ken Czubay has been named vice president of U.S. sales and marketing, effective July 16.
Czubay, 59, will return to Ford after a 25-year absence from the company. He is currently president of Southeast Toyota Distributors.
In his new position, Czubay will oversee sales and marketing of Ford Lincoln and Mercury vehicles in the U.S. He will report to Jim Farley, group vice president of marketing and communications, who has had those responsibilities on an interim basis after Cisco Codina retired from that post at Ford last year.
Farley will be working more closely with Derrick Kuzak, Ford group vice president of global product development, to drive the auto maker’s “One Ford” product vision, the company said.
Czubay formerly held various management and executive roles when he worked at Ford between 1970 and 1983. He left Ford to work in sales and marketing at Nissan North America. He joined Southeast Toyota Distributors, where he has held several executive posts, in 1990.
