Faithful to the Underground

Sony Computer Entertainment America, Foster City, CA, debuted a bevy of loyalty programs for members of PlayStation Underground, the official club for PlayStation game console owners.
Through this fall, PlayStation owners who become club members receive a $5 phonecard for the PlayStation 900 Hint Line and a free copy of the PlayStation Underground CD magazine.
Among other recent efforts, Sony mailed more than a million members coupons to Pizza Hut, which handed out PlayStation demo discs loaded with premier holiday titles.
Throughout the year, Underground members receive special club benefits, including demo discs of upcoming videogame titles and access to a PlayStation Underground “members only” area on the PlayStation Web site.
