Nykamp Consulting Group Inc., a CRM consultancy, has been acquired by Fair, Issac and Co. Inc. The terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1996 by Melinda Nykamp, Nykamp Consulting has 80 clients, including H&R Block, Philips Electronics, Saks, Spring and Hilton. It will now operate as a division of Fair, Issac.
Nykamp and her staff will remain on board, according to Fair, Issac spokesperson Debbie McGowan. The unit will continue to operate out of its headquarters in Oakbrook Terrace, IL, and in its offices in Denver, Los Angeles, Boston and Dallas.
Fair, Issac offers systems for modeling and analytics. Its clients include major banks like Chase, Fleet and MBNA, and retailers like Sears and Dillards. It also does work for several telecommunications and insurance companies.
