Facebook has confirmed that it’s launching a “Share” button for its mobile News Feed, according to TechCrunch. The button is now available on Facebook’s mobile site and will be available on the iOS and Android apps soon. The mobile “Share” button will do what the Web version does: allow users to repost links, photos or Sponsored Story ads, with the option to add their own commentary. This makes Facebook more like Twitter, with the “Share” button offering retweet-like functionality. This fulfills the requests for the feature from Facebook’s users. For marketers, this might mean more exposure of their ads and page posts, though maybe fewer likes. (TechCrunch)
