Fab Is Now Selling Gifts Through LivingSocial
Last week e-commerce darling Fab began selling gifts through LivingSocial’s website and marketing channels. Fab is featuring 50 of its “top picks” from its Holiday Shops in LivingSocial’s gift guide. A LivingSocial executive said the deal with Fab will help the daily-deals company transition from being a provider of local daily deals to a destination where people can discover unique products. LivingSocial will host the Fab gifts on its site and promote them with its emails. The daily-deals company will also handle the transactions. Fab is responsible for fulfilling purchases via its warehouses and delivery channels. The plan is for Fab to add more gifts before the end of the year. The terms of the deal are being withheld, but Fab will keep product revenue from sales and LivingSocial will get a marketing fee for distributing Fab’s products.
