EBay Inc., the Internet auction company, has named Jeff Jordan president of PayPal, its online payment subsidiary. He moves up from senior vice president in charge of North American operations.
Bill Cobb, former senior vice president for eBay International, will replace Jordan. Cobb was reportedly in charge of the San Jose, CA firm’s expansion into Europe and Asia for the past two years.
Matt Bannick, previously senior vice president of Global Online Payments, will replace Cob. The six-year eBay veteran is said to have helped guide the payment division through its 2002 acquisition.
