Investment firm Lake Capital, Chicago, has begun making good on its promise to build a worldwide agency network around DVC Group, Morristown, NJ, which it acquired last fall (December PROMO).
Late last month, the newly monikered DVC Worldwide announced the acquisition of Media Designs International, New York City, a tech-focused strategic marketing agency that includes youth-targeting practice BrandGames. The deal follows the April acquisition of U.K.-based Bray Leino Group, which boasts integrated marketing, research, exhibit design, and management training capabilities.
Dallas-based Pizza Hut last week launched a Kids Meal effort giving away four branded videogames (“Pie Fliers,” “Beneath the Crust,” “Furnace Frenzy,” and “Downtown Derby”) developed by BrandGames.
