Draft is sending executive VP John Minnec overseas to become managing director of Draft London.
Minnec has been in Draft’s Chicago office since 1996. He will now work with Sez Maxted, who becomes chairman of the London office. Executive creative director Arthur Parshotam and head of planning Karen Enver round out the management team for Draft’s 90-person London office.
Draft wants to strengthen management of its London office after winning new clients Vauxhall and The Post Office in 2004. Minnec worked on the U.S. Postal Service account at Draft in Chicago.
Separately, Draft has hired Julia Boley as senior VP-group account director in its New York office; she held the same post at Wunderman, New York and was most recently consulting with Ryan Partnership, Wilton, CT.
