Direct Marketing Spurs Credit Card Firm to $500 Million in Loans

Merrick Bank attributes its half-billion dollars in credit card receivables to an aggressive direct marketing program, according to the company.

The South Jordan, UT-based financial institution has more than 550,0000 cardholders, and anticipates aggressively expanding its portfolio.

Merrick Bank issues its cards in conjunction with CardWorks, its parent company. CarWorks is also the parent company of CMS, a third-party bankcard servicer.
