Amy DiGeso, formerly CEO of Mary Kay Inc., has been named president of Popular Club Plan, a membership-based cataloger of general merchandise. Popular Club Plan is a subsidiary of Minnetonka, MN-based Fingerhut Cos., itself a subsidiary of Federated Department Stores Inc.
As president of Popular Club, DiGeso will focus initially on expanding the business’ current Northeast geographic reach across the country, as well as enhancing its database and Internet marketing and proprietary credit card capabilities, Fingerhut said. Popular Club’s products range from home furnishings to children’s toys to designer label and brand name clothes.
DiGeso spent nearly seven years at Mary Kay, the last two as CEO. Previously, she held management positions at American Express, Estee Lauder and Banker’s Trust.
