Dialog Group Inc., a CRM service vendor, has reduced its first-quarter loss to $198,293, compared with $897,404 during the same period last year.

The New York-based firm reported a pro forma loss of $500,000, compared with $2.5 million last year, and pro forma revenue of $2.7 million.

The results reflect the merger with Healthcare Dialog last year and the acquisition of IP2M.

CFO Vince DeCrescenzo said that “operational savings were realized the consolidation of management positions and the streamlining of programming staff. In addition, offices in Connecticut, New Jersey, and Colorado were closed and an office in Sunrise, FL was opened.”

DeCrescenzo added that the firm plans to replace outside data with proprietary data and to increase its sales force.
