Business information compiler Dun & Bradstreet, based in Murray Hill, NJ, has spun off eccelerate.com, a new, wholly-owned subsidiary designed to help its customers conduct secure, business-to-business e-commerce transactions.
By leveraging the company’s global database, eccelerate.com will electronically provide companies making business transactions to authenticate, validate and enable business credentials. D&B has also formed a strategic alliance with VeriSign Inc., a provider of Internet trust services.
