Datran Media, digital marketing technology company, has made a number of changes to its senior management. Newly appointed personnel include Chris Gaebler as senior VP of mobile and social media; Steven Vine as associate general counsel and chief privacy officer; Karl Lendenmann as VP of marketing and analytics; Matt Douglas as VO of media operations for Aperture; and Jeff Katz as director of corporate development and Datran Media’s Incubation Group.
As senior VP of mobile and social media, Gaebler is charged with enhancing all of Datran Media’s technology solutions with mobile and social media capabilities. In his most recent position, Gaebler served as VP of research, media and CRM for Sony Electronics. Prior to his tenure at Sony, MGaebler co-founded advertising services company Free Car Media, and served in a variety of roles for Idealab and Accenture.
New associate general counsel and chief privacy officer, Steven Vine is responsible for managing consumer privacy commitment as well as government and industry relations. Vine joined Datran Media from Register.com, where he was deputy general counsel with responsibility for oversight of the legal department and industry relations. He also served as an active leader in ICANN, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers. Prior to Register.com, Vine was a corporate associate at the law firm Kaye Scholer, LLP, where he managed mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions and other general corporate matters.
Lendenmann, the new VP of marketing and analytics, will oversee in-market testing, data mining, responder profiling and segmentation, predictive modeling and lead scoring, as well as marketing research. Lendenmann previously served as a partner at KPMG LLP (US) and was partner-in-charge of KPMG international marketing and communications (Amsterdam, NL). He also served as a senior partner and managing director of account planning at Bozell Worldwide and has held similar positions at Salvati Montgomery & Sakoda, Wakeman & deForest, Brierley & Partners and Dentsu Young & Rubicam.
Douglas, the new VP of media operations for Aperture, will draw on his experience from a variety of positions he held at 24/7 Real Media, New York Times Digital and ZenithOptimedia.
As director of corporate development and Datran Media’s Incubation Group, Katz is responsible for create, launch and promote new products. Katz joins Datran Media from Enliven Marketing Technologies, where he served as director of corporate strategy.
