Pay-for-performance marketing firm Datran Media announced yesterday it is donating an unspecified percentage of every transaction completed today to Tuesday’s Children, a 9/11-related charity.
Tuesday’s Children provides a variety of services to families and individuals affected by Sept. 11, 2001, including ongoing mentoring, educational and career guidance to children who lost parents in the terrorist attacks.
The organization is also expanding its services to include support for Ground Zero rescue and recovery workers, many of whom are having health problems believed to be related to their work at the site.
“Tuesday’s Children is honored to be the beneficiary of this generous gift from Datran Media,” said Carmine Calzonetti, president of Tuesday’s Children, in a statement.
Today marks the sixth anniversary of the attacks.
