Mac Direct has acquired the fulfillment and lettershop business of competitor D.A. Lewis Associates Inc.
With this purchase, Colmar, PA-based Mac Direct has gained several continuous form laser printers, and high-speed inserting and bindery equipment.
D.A. Lewis of Doylestown, PA will now focus on its list business.
Mac Direct president Carlie Adams described the two firms as “friendly competitors” that often handled each other’s overflow work.
“When we learned that Dave and Jacqui Lewis waned to focus on their list business, acquiring their lettershop assets was an easy decision,” Adams said in a statement.
