Cross Media Marketing Corp., New York, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on June 16. The filing, done in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, will allow the company to have an orderly liquidation of its assets, according to a statement from Cross Media.
Peter A. Furman, a managing director of Getzler Henrich & Associates LLC, will oversee the liquidation process. Furman was appointed CEO and chief restructuring officer on May 23.
