Coldwater Creek Inc., Sandpoint, ID, has reported third quarter Internet sales of $9.9 million for the period ended Nov. 27, compared to $81,000 in the same period last year.
Internet sales represent close to 10% of overall third quarter sales, the company said in a statement.
Net income for the period was $5.2 million compared to $4.5 million one year ago. Net sales were $101.2 million versus $94.7 million.
Also during the third period, Coldwater Creek’s catalog channel posted sales of $87.9 million versus $85.9 million, which excludes Milepost Four catalog sales of $6.1 million in the comparable prior year quarter.
Internet sales for the first nine months ended Nov. 27 grew to $13.0 million from $216,000 in the comparable period last year.
Net income, including the gain on the sale of Milepost Four, was $8.2 million compared to net income of $5.8 million last year. Net sales were $226.1 million $235.6 million.
