CNET Networks Inc. has launched a new digital music Web site, MP3.com.
MP3.com includes a directory of legal digital music downloads and streams across the major services, including 30-second clips of millions of songs; a catalog of artist, album and track information across 700 music genres; Musicvine, a “music discovery engine” to help users find new artists with similarities to their favorites; links to music content; a Tech Guide section with information on portable players and software.
The site will add a community and personalization features later this year, according to San Francisco-based CNET.
